A new sample of new diesel engine is being studied to reduce maximum diesel emissions into the environment and reduce the risk of lung cancer for human beings.
Diesel engines have many advantages such as saving fuel, higher torque and lower CO2 emissions in compared with gasoline. However, more and more concerned about the impact of diesel oil on human health.
A study conducted in 2013 in Netherlands has found that 6% of all cancer deaths in the US and in the UK is caused by gas exhausted emission from diesel engine. In addition, the study of the European Commission estimated 420,000 premature deaths each year in Europe due to they often inhale gas exhausted from diesel oil.
However, this anxiety can be answered by inventing a completely clean diesel engine, especially it does not affect human health.
New diesel engine is being researched independently by Health Effects Institute (HEL) in Boston, the expected emissions from these engines will low impact on the environment and health risks of people.
“The importance of research and conclusion certainly can not be overstated” Allen Schaeffer, executive director of the Diesel Technology forum said. The results of the study will verify the environmental benefits of “clean” new diesel technology.
In which, emissions such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), hydrocarbons (HC) and particulate matter (PM) will be almost zero. This research is being conducted on trucks that use diesel engines, in the future, clean diesel technology will be applied in all sectors such as agricultural machinery, marine and travel car, etc.
The new diesel engine has many advantages such as saving fuel, higher torque, but they make noise. Currently, engine noise reduces significantly and they boot faster, roughly equivalent to gasoline engine.
Along with BlueTEC technology has helped to clean the exhaust of diesel engines. The principle is use of catalytic or converters in order to remove toxic compounds such as CO and HC emissions in the composition, and also collect slag in particles before releasing exhaust into environment.
However, the cost of vehicles that are equipped new diesel technology is still very expensive. Currently, Mercedes, BMW and Volkswagen are leaders in application of diesel technology on luxury products.
